This prominent artist originating from Gothenburg recently went on tour with Debbie Harry (Blondie). His music differs quite a bit from the Scandinavian stereotype, and he has been very successful in Japan, USA and Germany, and several other markets. His latest album is called “Sweet Bills”. Kristoffer has been wearing Dr. Denim Jeansmakers since early 2006.

DEATH TO

FRANK ZIYANAK

Death to Frank Ziyanak are from Silkeborg, Denmark. They play pure rock with influences from the 60’s. Frank recently formed his own record company, and the band is planning to release their second album during 2008. They performed in Dr. Denim Jeansmakers’ booth at CPH Vision (the fashion exhibition) in 2007.

AVATAR

Melodic death metal band Avatar was formed in Gothenburg in 2003 and recently released their second album, “Schlacht” Avatar toured with In Flames in Scandinavia during 2007 and are going on a European tour together with Obituary during 2008. You will see them wearing Dr. Denim Jeansmakers on and off stage.

FIGURINES

Figurines are a Danish indie-rock band, formed in the 90’s. Their official debut was in 2003 with album “Shake a Mountain”. They performed at the Roskilde Festival the same year. Their latest album “When the Deer Wore Blue” was released in 2007.

IN FLAMES

Recognised as pioneers of the melodic death metal genre, In Flames have released a total of eight albums and are currently working on their ninth. They have toured with Judas Priest, Slayer, Motörhead and many other bands, and are amongst Sweden’s most successful metal exports.

HOWLING

BELLS

This Australian band was formed three years ago, and they are currently working on their second album. Howling Bells discovered Dr. Denim Jeansmakers through the store “Somedays” in Sydney. They sound like a mix of P.J. Harvey, The Velvet Underground and Twin Peaks, only better.

CHARLOTTE

Haegermark

Charlotte Haegermark, aged 19, is a young talented racing driver from Gothenburg. She competes in the top class of karting, KZ2 with a six-speed gearbox and a top speed exceeding 200 km/h. Charlotte finished on 21st place in the Swedish Championship, being the only female driver. Her intention for 2008 is to proceed to the German Karting Championship, after which she hopes to proceed to Formula Renault 2.0.

Dia Psalma

This classic Swedish punk/folk rock/metal band was formed in 1992 and reunited in 2006 after nine years of silence. They are currently working on a new record and love their new jeans.

Streets of Mars

This Swedish rookie band serves a cocktail of rock and pop with a unique character. They love playing rock more than anything and they are really down to earth, hard working artists. Well-dressed of course.
